Hi, Admission to the course is based on the candidates performance in one of the relevant entrance exams held in the country. CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is one of the major entrance examinations for admission to the course. Hi Ashfaque, well, there are basically two ways to study in India either by self-financing or on scholarships provided. Indian embassy offers scholarships to a lot number of Nepalese students. The exam is quite easier if you are from Madesh or educationally underprivileged district classified by GoN. Some of the great colleges where you can study on self financing are VIT, MIT Manipal, MIT Pune, DTU, NITs, CFTIs etc. For DTU, NITs, CFTIs, you have to apply through DASA scheme. 1) Eligibility criteria - Class 12th (mandatory subjects): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
2) Admission Criteria: Admission is done through counselling based on the rank obtained in KCET/ComedK.
Seat weightage:
45% of the seats are filled by the Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KCET)
30% of seats are filled by the Common Entrance Test conducted by private management association (COMED-K)
20% of seats are filled by management.
