Hi Ashfaque, well, there are basically two ways to study in India either by self-financing or on scholarships provided. Indian embassy offers scholarships to a lot number of Nepalese students. The exam is quite easier if you are from Madesh or educationally underprivileged district classified by GoN. Some of the great colleges where you can study on self financing are VIT, MIT Manipal, MIT Pune, DTU, NITs, CFTIs etc. For DTU, NITs, CFTIs, you have to apply through DASA scheme. You have to appear in SAT subject tests and get selected. For colleges like VIT etc, you can get admission directly subject to eligibility criteria. In this case, you don't need any help from embassy as you don't need a visa to go to India.
Footnote: If I were you, for biotechnology I would choose NITs, DTU, CFTIs rather than colleges like VIT etc. If I have to study in some local and non-reputed college, I would not go to India. I would rather study in Kathmandu University whose B. Tech in biotechnology is highly recognized and offers a good career.

1) Eligibility criteria - Class 12th (mandatory subjects): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
2) Admission Criteria: Admission is done through counselling based on the rank obtained in KCET/ComedK.
Seat weightage:
45% of the seats are filled by the Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KCET)
30% of seats are filled by the Common Entrance Test conducted by private management association (COMED-K)
20% of seats are filled by management.

For being eligible in the UGC NET Exam, you must complete the Masters programme in the Subject in which you want to make career. The Lectureship Exam is held every year and many candidates appear in this exam. The UGC NET Exam do not has any age limit criteria. For applying to the JRF Scholarship you must be not more than 30 years age limit (35 years for the female and reserved candidates ).

Eligibility Criteria: Diploma in engineering in the relevant branch (see below) of study or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with 50% marks like for B.E in electrical engineering.: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical (Instrumentation) / Instrumentation Control / Electronics Engineering / Electronics Engg.
