As BCA is a technical course, companies only demand for graduates with full-time degrees. Distance learning courses always holds less value than regular degree holders in any course. So, if you haven't already enrolled into any university yet, then I'd highly recommend you to go with full-time BCA course. But if you can't pursue regular degree due to some circumstances then distance learning is your only chance to enhance your career. Also, try to do some certifications to increase the chances of getting hired.

You don't necessarily need to do any additional courses before BCA. BCA is a really easy course in which you'll study Programming Languages from the very beginning. So, you don't need to worry about if you'll be able to cope up with programming. What you can do is start learning some basics of programming languages on your own, so it'll be easier for you to understand the concepts in future. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app "BCA - Course Programming", which is specially designed and developed for BCA students and is available on Google Play Store.

I would say, yes you need to buy a laptop because BCA is a technical course where you'll be taught coding. So, if you've a laptop with you then you'll be able to code more often rather than depending on your college for practical classes. A laptop with i3 Intel processor, 4GB RAM will be enough for general programming languages. This will cost you around Rs. 20-30k. If you want to develop Applications and Games in future then i7 8th generation processor, with 8 GB RAM will be recommended. This will cost you around Rs.60-80k. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out

I started learning Android through YouTube tutorials. It took me almost a year (being an IT student) to create a decent app for Play Store, you can take more or less time depending on your learning capabilities and the amount of time you put into learning on daily basis. You don't need to know everything about Android Studio and Java to create Android Applications. Just watch some tutorials, start playing around with Android Studio, create some sample projects, and start with text views, buttons and you'll begin to understand what's happening with the code. This is the way I learned it. Honestly, I don't know complete android, I learnt

After learning these new technologies, you should try to create some projects on your own or with a team and release them online. This'll look good on your resume, plus it'll give practical knowledge to you as well. You should also try to contribute to websites like StackOverFlow, Github, HackerEarth, CodeChef etc. And build up a profile from there. After all of these steps you should also w

Yes, BCA is an easy course for every student who has interest in coding and in information technology as compared to any other IT Course. As long as you are interested in programming you wouldn't face any hurdles in learning, as programming is very interesting to learn. If you attend lectures regularly and actually try to understand the topics you wouldn't even need to study on daily basis. I personally didn't study on daily basis (only in exams time) but I used to attend every lecture and paid proper attention towards the lectures. Apart from this, I used to code for at-least 2 hours a day on daily basis, during my BCA. Your interest
