I would say, yes you need to buy a laptop because BCA is a technical course where you'll be taught coding. So, if you've a laptop with you then you'll be able to code more often rather than depending on your college for practical classes. A laptop with i3 Intel processor, 4GB RAM will be enough for general programming languages. This will cost you around Rs. 20-30k. I started learning Android through YouTube tutorials. It took me almost a year (being an IT student) to create a decent app for Play Store, you can take more or less time depending on your learning capabilities and the amount of time you put into learning on daily basis. You don't need to know everything about Android Studio and Java to create Android Applications. Just watch some tutorials, start playing around with Android Studio, create some sample projects, and start with text views, buttons and you'll begin to understand what's happening with the code. This is the way I learned it. Honestly, I don't know complete android, I learnt like 1 or 2% from those YouTube tutorials but still I am able to create some applications. I have uploaded like 5 of them on Play Store, where one of them received 50k+ installs within 2 years of release. So, start learning and practicing without worrying about the time consumption, it's always fun to code and the feeling of being able to create apps for others to use is just awesome.

Yes, BCA is an easy course for every student who has interest in coding and in information technology as compared to any other IT Course. As long as you are interested in programming you wouldn't face any hurdles in learning, as programming is very interesting to learn. If you attend lectures regularly and actually try to understand the topics you wouldn't even need to study on daily basis. I personally didn't study on daily basis (only in exams time) but I used to attend every lecture and paid proper attention towards the lectures. Apart from this, I used to code for at-least 2 hours a day on daily basis, during my BCA. Your interest towards programming is really necessary for pursing a course like BCA. As without interest in programming, 3 years of BCA will become a burden for you. Apart from this, mathematics can also be difficult for you if you haven't studied it in your +2.
