Yes, you can choose commerce with 50% in 10th and you can score good percentage. If you do a little hard work then also you can score much more better than what you have scored in your 10th. Commerce is the best stream according to me as it helps a lot not only focusing in study but also in extra curricular activities like government exams. For students who have aim to become an IAS IPS, IFS officers, etc.

If you'll start early, it'll be beneficial for you only. Begin from your 1st semester, as professors will already be teaching you the basics of programming. So, it's better to start off with them, so you can clear your doubts and queries with them on timely basis and it'll not clutter up. Almost every other college teaches C as the first language, so it's better to begin with C. In this way, you'll also stay up-to-date with your syllabus and course's curriculum. If you're starting on your own then you can follow books, videos, websites, and courses to understand the concepts of C, there are plenty of them available online. If you want

The languages you'll study in BCA doesn't require a high-end computer or laptop. You'll study languages like C, C+, Java and few others depending on the university. All these languages can operate on a system with minimal requirements on 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD too. I'd highly recommend you to go for a laptop with at least 8GB RAM, i7 8th gen processor & 1TB HDD. The reason is that if in case in future you do some development courses like Android Development, Game Development or any other software development. These processes requires a high-end machine for smooth functioning. I know this kind of machine will require a good budget but it'll

Yes, you can change your college after successful completion of your 1st year and by successful completion I mean, there must be no active backlogs in any subjects in both semesters. First things first, it'll be a hectic process, I believe you'll be charged extra fees by your new college. The documentation collection is the main thing. If you're seeking admission from colleges affiliated with same university then it'll be a little easier process. But if the universities are different too, then you'll have to appear in the entrance exam and personal interviews. Visit your college for more detailed information.

It is true that BCA does not hold that much value as compared to B.Tech CSE or IT. But, BCA is a course which is for commerce and arts stream students or even for Science stream students who didn't performed well in their +2 and wants to build a career in IT. It is also true that if you have a BCA degree and absolutely no or little knowledge in programming, you probably will not be securing any job offers. In BCA you have to put in your extra efforts in learning and mastering the skills in programming. Just having the degree will not yield much. Only BCA's syllabus is not enough for a fruitful career, you've to do additional courses an
