Hey.Congratulations on your CAT results. The college might shortlist you for the interview round. But even if you are selected to join the PGDM course, you will have problems during the placements ,as the companies which come to SDMIMD ask for a minimum of 65% in the graduation. The college will not take the responsibility during the recruitment process. So take a wise decision. If you feel that you can do well in PGDM which will force the recruiters to look beyond your graduation scores , then go ahead and apply.

Hello Pranay,
By reading about your profile and the grades you have secured it is unlikely that you will face any problem. Your health issue was something out of your control and universities understand as long as they are genuine problems and as long as you can justify your stand. I cannot guarantee admission in a top university, so you must apply with a strong statement of purpose and letters of recommendation. I will suggest you to apply with positivism around.
Best of luck for your future.

Hi Roopa,
I would like to throw some light on importance of distance MBA. Distance MBA is generally helpful for those who are currently working and are seeking promotion or hike, it helps. Also, distance MBA is for those who are financially less sound and have to work side by side. I would suggest you to go for regular MBA if you've money, time and zeal.
Thanks,
Gautam Joshi

First, give CAT and try scoring high. If you were not able to score in Urban Academics then no worries aim for CAT and if you Crack it and get a good score then your academic marks will be taken lesser into consideration. Your CAT score and GD/PI is what matters after CAT score.
All the Best.
