The cut off is different for different categories for eg cut off for JEE Mains general this year is 100 and for OBC its 70. A general candidate must have minimum 100 marks to get it while an OBC candidate can get in even at 70 marks and hence there is a difference in ranks as well

To get admission into Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) you need to clear BITSAT only. There are no other entrance exams for BITS-Pilani.
JEE Advanced is only for admission into IITs, IIST, etc.

No, you can get in architecture branch of any NIT GFTI by only means of paper 2. In fact it doesn't even matter if you qualified paper 1 or not. But you can give NATA test through which you can get good colleges in arch.
