It only depends on which college you want to get admission in to.
Each and every college has different criteria.
Also these colleges have their own selection process like Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Case discussion, etc.

SASTRA University has a purely merit based admission system. You'll have no way to get a seat through management quota! You can get in through the NRI quota but it's has very limited seats.
I'm sure you'll be able to get into the other colleges with money bit not the case with SASTRA.
