After getting tagged to IIT on September 6 2016, DMS IIT ISM Dhanbad has come under Tier-1 college. Its MBA programme is growing tremendously with respect to their student's profile, batch strength, placement scenarios, and other additional professional activities. Students are getting a plethora of opportunities from the fortune companies for Internship and Placement. DMS now has also become a part of IIT ISM Dhanbad core placement cell. From this year onward, IIT ISM Dhanbad will cater the placement activities of DMS IIT ISM Dhanbad.

Students get Tuition Fee waiver from government according to some norms and conditions.
Placements: Till last year placements were good and almost all the eligible student was placed.
Maharatna companies also visited many times for placement and internship. But this year after getting tagged to IIT we are expecting a major change and we can observe them. We are also expecting Maharatna for recruitment this year. Our seniors got their paid internship in Outlook, SBI, IOCL, Tata Steel, Tata Power, ITC, Mecon India, HAL, NHPC, Elect steel, IDBI Bank. And regarding placements this time there are many companies lined up for recruitment. Being a Tier-1 college, the college has also put a benchmark of the package.

CFP is a lucrative career option for those contemplating a career in financial planning. The international CFP certification is granted by the Financial Planning Standards Board of India (FPSB India) and recognised over 22 countries. It focuses on a variety of topics along the personal finance angle such as the time value of money, risk and insurance planning, retirement planning, estate planning, taxation planning, etc. They can work as consultants in banks, asset management companies or even set up their individual practice.
With growing number of investors in India, and common man taking more interest in financial planning, there is a high potential of growth for CFP professionals. Individuals need experts who can give them advice in wealth management, financial planning, asset management, etc. This is where CFPs can fill in the gap.

Jobs in Biomedical Engineering in India:
*After doing Biomedical Engineering, you can be employed in some MNC's as Sales, Service and Application Specialists.

COEP and VJTI both are very old colleges in India and in Asia as well. These two colleges are the best for B.Tech in computer engineering. In terms of placements, it is all well as highly reputed companies come to both of these colleges.
For B.Tech, many people say that COEP is good because it is situated in Pune and now a days, Pune is a developing IT sector. Most of the IT companies are situated here in Pune.
COEP has a great opportunity for further studies.
Placement from this college is as good as the IITs. Campus of this college is also good and hostel for boys and girls as well.
The great thing about COEP is its academic education which is the best in this college. It has very good experienced faculties which are very highly educated.
For placement, both of these are the best but I think, it is little bit better in VJTI than COEP.
But, the hostel condition and infrastructure of VJTI is not that much good as compared to COEP. Mostly, computer science branch gets better salary than any other branches of engineering.
