Hello Dyaneshwar Khandare,
Software engineering is a course in which you can get jobs in almost all companies as they require members in the technical team. Though software engineering is widely preferred for IT sector, you can get jobs easily both in India as well as overseas.
You need to study in the best institute to get high salary jobs.
So, there is really good scope for software engineering in India, but you need to be very skilled and also better than your counterparts.

Hello Anjali, According to the CSIR norms, aspirants who have qualified post-graduation or 4 years graduation degree can apply for the CSIR UGC NET exam. But graduate students can only apply for the Junior Research Fellowship. Candidates who enrolled in Masters degree are also eligible to take the exam. So, a B.Sc. No, with 79 marks being a Delhi student and not having SC/ST category you will not get admission in Thapar University not even in any other college.
So it is advisable to take admission in any private college through direct means.

Hi Atul, obviously, VIT Vellore is the better one than KIIT, Odisha in terms of placements , especially for computer science engineering.
VIT is also better in placement for all the courses than KIIT.

IIM, except one or other few exceptional cases, difficult but you can still try. If you would have taken GMAT and applied to ISB-Hyderabad chances are there.

Either of them as foreign universities are aware of Indian education system. However, very recently there were issues with PSEB board students in Australia, just google the news. I would therefore recommend CBSE for assured recognition.
