Key differentiators between MBA and Integrated MBA course
Graduates in any streams can pursue the MBA program whereas intermediates can study the Integrated MBA program.

While graduates have to study the MBA program as a separate course so as to become a postgraduate, intermediates can directly turn out to be postgraduate by pursuing the Integrated MBA program.

History of TFWS
This scheme was followed from April 2007 and it allows institutions like engineering, hospitality and pharmacy colleges to admit students under tuition fee waiver schemes in addition to the sanctioned number of students.
Eligibility
The waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the state level fee committee for self-financing institutions and by the government for the government and government-aided institutions. All other fee structures except tuition fee will have to be paid by the beneficiary.
Sons and daughters of people whose annual income is less than Rs.2.50 lakhs from all sources shall only be eligible for seats under this scheme.
Selection process
Under this scheme, up to 5% of sanctioned intake per course shall be available for these admissions. These seats shall be supernumerary in nature.
The competent authority to affect these admissions is the State Government or its designated authority.
In the event of non-availability of students in this category, the same shall not be given to any other category applications.
State Admission Authority shall invite applications under this category, make a separate merit list for this category and offer admissions on the basis of the merit list generated.
The institutions shall publish in their brochure and on the websites the details of this scheme.
The competent authority for admission shall submit a separate list of the students admitted under this category to the institute to which they are admitted for compliance.
A letter in this respect shall be issued by the competent authority for admission to each beneficiary student admitted under this scheme and he/she shall not be allowed to change institution/course under any circumstance.
The institutions shall also display the information regarding admitted candidates in their websites for information to the students and other stakeholders.

10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks conducted by a recognised university or board.
