Basically, there are 3 sections in CAT exam - verbal ability, DILR, Quants.
Verbal ability-
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. However, reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis.
DILR-

It's okay if you have lower score in graduation, but one thing you can do is work hard for GMAT and SAT. You are eligible, but you won't be able to get admission in a good college or even in an average MBA college. I would suggest you to reappear for CET. Besides, that you can appear for ATMA, MAT, CAT, IBSAT exams which will give you more scope to get better colleges.

With this score, I don't think you will get good private colleges. Although VIT and SRM have management quota, it's best to prepare for one more year for JEE.
