If you had science subjects (PCM in your XIIth then you may sit for AIEE exam and other engg exams to get admission into automobile engineering. If you perusue your BA then it would be difficult going in automobile line technically. You may then have to take some special trainign course.

But if you would still like then here it is : Its a 1 yr course and you need to have at least 60% in BE/BTech Maechanical Engineering. you can also apply online. Career opportunities include positions in engineering design, materials and mechanics, dynamics, control, desalination technology, thermal science. Univ of Glasgow is one of the oldest Universities of the UK.

HI Paramita, it is very much accepted by Universities in the UK for any UG course.
To apply for a UG course, you can either take the route of UCAS or you can apply through groups like NAVITAS, INTO, Kaplan International Colleges.
In the UK, UG engineering programs are of 3 years in duration. Courses commence in September and one can not apply directly to the Universities(most of them). You need to apply through UCAS and the last date is 30 June. You have the provision of applying to 5 Universities and UCAS charges GBP 21 for it. There is a small intake in Jan, for which you don't have to go through UCAS and you can apply directly. At le

With this rank unfortunately you might not get into a reputed college but still you may try in the private engg colleges. List out the colleges in your area and find their cut off percentages of last year (year 2010) and based on the data collected, apply for admission.

You should try to get admission in B.Com as first choice. The other alternative is to do BBA if you are not anymore intrested in commerce field.

After Xth n science you need to complete your XIIth. If you have PCB subjects then you need to give exams for medine, Dental or Pharma line. If you have PCM subjects then you need to appear for IIT and AIEE exam for engineering career.
