Generally best 5 subjects are considered for calculating percentage. But it varies from board to board. You need to contact the institute in which you want to take admission. Check admission in some best universities as lovely professional university, vit vellor , srm etc.

I would suggest you to take admission in Full time M.Sc Zoology. part time or short term course are not that much good if i talk about placements. In all respect regular studies are considered better. Here i also want to add that check for some good university for admission as M.Sc zoology is being offered by various universities at every corner of the city.but choosing the best university is uter most important as from where your career will grow. Some of India top universities are GNDU, Lovely Professional University, Pune University.

In which program you want to take admission. Quota varies from program to program. For exact data you can mail to respective IIT. Other then this there are many foreign universities in india like Lovely Professional University, GNDU where there is numerous crowd of international students.

In which stream you want to take admission. In IIT's, NIT's it is not possible to get admission only on the basis of +2 percentage and also they do not offer scholarships. But there are some top universities where you can take admission on the basis of 12th percentage and you can get scholarships as well. Check admission in Lovely Professional University, VIT Vellor etc.
