SRM and VIT are more or less the same. There is not much difference between the two universities. Therefore I would suggest you to join the one that is comparatively cheaper.

As BMS and BBA first year syllabus is same, theoritically it is possible to migrate to BMS second year on completion of first year. But practically it is full of challenges. First BMS college must be ready to take you and BBA college has to agree to release you. Sometime releasing college may ask for full three years fee to release because their seat will go waste. In addition BMS college also charge first year fee again.

It depends on what type of job you want and sometimes for companies all that matters is your knowledge, not your degree. Your capabilities matter, but for some companies, your degree is your mode of entry.
