BTech EEE is a better option in comparison to BSc unless you want to become a scientist or teacher by doing B.Sc M.Sc and PhD.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) is a core field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. EEE is majority of universities is traditional Electrical engineering with few courrses in Electronics. Electrical engineering has now subdivided into a wide range of subfields including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics etc. Many of these sub-disciplines overlap and also overlap with other engineering branches, spanning a huge number of specializations such as hardware engineering, power electronics, electromagnetics & waves, microwave engineering, nanotechnology, electrochemistry, renewable energies, mechatronics, electrical materials science, and many more
EEE Engineers are employed in Operations and Maintenance roles in Manufacturing and Services industry. EEE engineers are also employed in Electrical Power generations such as atomic power plants, hydel or thermal power plants. EEE Engineers are also employed in power distribution and services companies. Job opportunities for EEE engineers are available in both private and public sectors like railways, civil aviation, electricity board and utility companies, electrical design, and consultancy firms. EEE engineers also employed in Electrical and Electronics goods manufacturing companies. EEE engineers can join Indian Engineering Services, DRDO, ISO, Defence and paramilitary forces also. EEE engineers are also employed in teaching and R&D besides working as an independent consultant.
