Its like comparing oranges and apples. Just an advice for further comparisions - compare like business schools in India or compare universties abroad not different programs and schools in India vs abroad. You can't compare Cardiff and Symbiosis, both are entirely different in different contexts. If you need any information regarding admission requirements etc please check the fee and also go through the program curriculum of both which will help you understand a big deal.

1. Market conditions vary every 6 months to 1 year. Engineering is a 4 year course. There is a high chance that the field which looks the most promising at the time of taking admission might not be good when you complete engineering.
2. Engineering mostly involves practical skills rather than theoretical knowledge. If you choose a stream based on market trends, chances are that you might not be able to understand the subject properly. This may result in lesser grades and impact on practical skills.

Yes, part time MBA in the area of your current work exposure will help you sharpen your skills in business management and thus assist you in the professional career. You can also pursue MBA in an area of your interest & this may not be aligned to your current area of work & post completion of it you can either seek internal job change in your existing organisation or seek avenues outside your organisation.
