In New Zealand registration is required by law in order to undertake employment as a nurse and Physiotherapist.
You need to improve you IELTS score to be able to atleast 6.5 (academic). Once you obtain that you could go for either of these courses-
1.Bachelors of Nursing for Registered Nurses from UCOL
Tenure- 1 year full time
Intakes Feb and July
Fees- NZ$17065
IELTS requirement- 6.5 academic (with no band less than 6.0)
UCOL is a reputed NZ government funded institution; its nursing school has been training nurses for nearly 30 years.
But please note that this degree does NOT enable u to practice as a registered nurse in NZ. After competing this course, you will need to do a CAP course and obtain registration.
2.Bachelors of Nursing for Registered Nurses from EIT
Tenure- 2 years full time
Intakes Feb and July
Fees-NZ$16900/-
IELTS requirement- 6.5 (academic ) in all bands
EIT too is a good NZ government funded institution and is situated in one of the most beautiful cities of NZ.
On completion of your course, the nurse will be eligible for NZ registration.
Your spouse will get a work permit while you are studying. He can work full time. (The current minimum adult wage rate is $12.75 an hour.)

If you are aspiring to pursue MS in USA or Canada, in that case apart from IELTS you also need to take GRE, and all the good universities requires 1200-1400 plus score in GRE.
