Eligibility
Passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate* ( 40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Full Time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities
OR
Appeared** for the final year examination of any Full Time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate* (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only).

Scored 30 or more marks in the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010 and appeared for the GD & PI conducted by the Competent Authority of the Maharashtra State for the academic year 2010-11 OR CAT 2009 conducted by IIMs) and appear for GD &PI conducted by the Competent Authority of Maharashtra State for academic year 2010-11.

Hi,
In order to pursue Phd, from universities abroad, you need to first of all make a list of the universities that you aspire for, then send emails to respective course department, asking them to provide you the eligibility criteria and selection procedure for PHD students.
It may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor.
The general eligibility criteria for PHD students are as follows:
In majority of the institutes, Master's Degree is an essential pre-requisite for a Ph.D. while others admit graduates too.
It is important that you have good scores in common entrance tests such as GRE and English Language examinations like TOEFL.
Internships or other work experience will add to your qualifications.
Ph.D. course work essentially includes research and documentation work. This requires large amounts of money. In addition to this, you have to consider living expenses for the entire duration of the course. The annual expenses of most Ph.D. students are about $28,000-$40,000 per year
