As rightly suggested by Mr. Nikhlesh M.Tech through distance education would not be a good idea, first of all not all the Distance Education Institutes are UGC recognized and to get into teaching profession you would require a recognized degree. Moreover, there won't be many Universities giving a correspondence degree in M.Tech. I would suggest that try with IGNOU if it is providing M.Tech. others could be University of Burdwan, C.V Raman University, Sri Venkateshwar College, Anna University etc.

Hi Meet,
GRE,is a test which need to be taken by all the student who wish to pursue MS course in US.It is of 1600 marks, and all the good universities requires 1200-1400 plus score.
GMAT,is a test which need to take by all the student who wish to pursue MBA course in US.
It is of 800 marks, and all the good universities requires 600-700 plus score.
TOEFL is the exam which need to be taken by all the international students whose first or native language is not English.
TOEFL has 4 section namely:
*Reading
*Writing
*Speaking
*Listening
TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) is of 120 marks, and all the good universities requires 80-90 plus score.

As Shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion on this. However, frankly speaking NIIT Imperia gives a distance learning programme and I would say all the distance learning programmes are rated equally in the eyes of employers. So, before choosing any such programme few of the things which you should keep in mind are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.
I would like to add here that in case you are looking for your career growth, then in that case you should opt for a full time programme, or if you have good amount of work experience can opt for EMBA programme provided by IIMs etc.
