Sure many science graduates go for diploma courses after graduation,
PGDCA (post graduate diploma in computer application) surely benefits if the person has true interest in the topic.
Graduates are well placed to work in a software companies and in the public, private , industrial administrative or service sectors. There are two parts of TISS Examination I Part includes Quant, Verbal & General Awareness and part II will have Programme specific questions.
I would say for preparation of TISS Entrance there is no one set of books which you can consult. You can prepare through various tests prep books available in the market such as R.S. Aggarwal, Galgotias, and Meenakshi & Arun Sharma. For quantitative ability & logical reasoning section you should start going through the NCERT Books of class 9-12. For Verbal ability I would say, you can purchase Wren and Marten & a good dictionary would to start your preparations. You should study good intermediate level text books on different subjects which will help you in Passage section of verbal ability. For General Knowledge section in XAT, read News paper regularly, also read magazines & also listen to the News Channels. For Programme specific Preparation refer to the books on Social Work available in the market.
There is no concrete plan which I can suggest you for preparation the only advice I would give is the key to success in such Entrance Examinations is Time Management and remember “there is no short cut to hard work”

It entirely depends upon you, both the institutes you have mentioned are good, pursuing MBA in Canada will give you international exposure, where in you will get a chance to study with student from different country and you can learn about different working culture and traditions.IIM we all know that, it is one of the premier institute of India, which is famous among all the international and national corporates.Canada is a country where getting PR is very easy as compare to USA and other European countries.
How ever if you get admission in IIM, it will be advisable to go ahead with IIM.

In order to pursue MS in US you need to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university, in 10+2+4 years of education pattern.
Good academic record throughout preferably 60%.
GRE score of 1200 plus and TOEFL score of 80-90 plus.
Universities in US have 2 admission intakes i.e. Fall (August) and Spring (January) Intake. So first of all you need to decide in which intake you want admission, and then accordingly start your application process at least 6-7 months in advance, it is always advisable to take GRE and TOEFL at least a year in advance of your planned admission intake. An average tuition fee of a US university is about US$ 30,000 per-year and average living expenses are about US$ 10,000 per-year.
