Dear Harry,
You need a minimum of 65% or equivalent in your class 12th and an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no band less than 6 for the majority of the universities. However, there are a few which will accept overall 6 with no band less than 5.5.

There are many ways through which you can enrol yourself into a Ph.D. programme. One way is that in which you require the highest competency and knowledge level is by qualifying NET-JRF exams. Hi Vinod,
Check University of Windsor, University of Alberta, UOttawa, UOIT and Memorial University of Newfoundland etc. These are overall suggestions, you must check the university websites for varying requirements, for example Windsor requires a TOEFL of 100 but do not require a GRE. You may email them and find out if they can consider your current TOEFL score. Every program in every university falls under a different faculty, hence please visit the websites for details.

On the website of your university, there is a student profile login option there. Login there and select student services, on that select college options and then follow the instruction that follows. After than ask your college principal or dean if they allow you or not to change the college. If they agree to provide you a no objection certificate, you are done here. Take your NOC and move to the college that you wish to take admission in. All the best.

A bonafide certificate is a certificate issued by the School/ college to prove that the student has studied in a particular school/ college during the period so and so to prove that the student continued studies and resided in a particular location. This is used as many proofs, like current address proof , identity proof, or it may be used for certain schemes of government.
Study certificate means you have studied the particular course/ subject or graduated from the school or college. That's an educational certificate.
