Hi Aman,
Your grades are very good and you can apply to a top ranked Canadian university. But which course you should study can be suggested only if you can share your interests and also the subjects you studied. Know what you want in terms of your career as well. Also, being from the general category won't help in Canada. They have no caste based system there, admissions are strictly on merit.

RM is doing pretty good, placements are same as any other specialization as you'll be allowed to attend all interviews along with MMS/PGDM core. Yes, it is worth the time and money if you're really serious about it because the faculty is quite good. If RM isn't your first option, you could consider core programs.

Yes, government flying schools are good, but due to less training air crafts, it will take more time to complete your course there.
Placement assistance is average as you have to work hard to get a good job after training.

No, it is not true. During placements no college or university can reserve placements for any student depending on the religion. These are rumors. I have a friend who is in his first year MBA in Christ University and he has confirmed it that there is no such thing.

Hi Nidhi,
First, understand why you want to do an MBA? Then, work on improving your communication skills, learn to communicate in English and then write CAT, XAT or CMAT and apply to a B School when you feel confident of pursuing an MBA.

Hi K Roy,
Which field you should choose is apparently a decision to made by you. With your vast experience you should now decide what your career plans are and what interests you. Do you want to remain in the sales and marketing domain or shift your career? I would suggest an MBA, however the specialisation is something you must decide.

Yes you can pursue MBA IT after completing MBA in IT. MBA can open a wide range of opportunities in information technology. Some of them are as follows:-
1. After MBA a person can become a business analyst (however even engineers from top engineering colleges can become that).
2. Technology/digital consulting is another field where knowledge of business processes, concepts of financial modelling, business strategy, and exposure to information technology can help a person to succeed.

It will be very difficult to get a call from Alliance University bangalore. Infact at your score it will be very difficult to get a good college. I would suggest you to prepare better for other upcoming management exams such as CMAT, MAT and ATMA.

You can go for an executive management programme if you have work experience of more than 3 years. There are some very good colleges offering Executive 1-year MBA. Great Lakes, Chennai require minimum 2 years of work experience, same goes with ISB Hyderabad, Welingkar Mumbai, KJ Somaiya, IIMs and SP Jain.

Though they may not ignore your profile but they will ask you for sure once you are shortlisted, so it depends on how you answer and if it is really of your interest area then you can give it a try.

It is difficult to predict the cut-off since the application process is not over. Once it gets over i.e. post 20th Jan, we would be able to give a better idea. For your reference, last year's CAT cut-off for PGDM and PGDM-IB was 84% and 76% respectively. I hope this helps you.
