If you are looking at doing your MBA, from a reputed B School in India, you have to give the CAT entrance exam. The basic eligibility for CAT, is at least 50% in your graduation. Do not focus too much on your percentage, which you got in your H.S.C. It does not mean that you are not capable of doing better. You just need to have the firm belief in yourself, that you are good. Let people say whatever they want to, but ensure that you never get affected. You have to make yourself menatally tough and go about your job.

No it is not true. The only condition that has to be fulfilled is that the degree has to be recognized by UGC or AICTEE. If your degree is recognized by these bodies, then your degree will be accepted in US.

To Prepare well for the PSC, there are two phases - Preliminary and Main, you need to be well aware of the pattern and syllabus.
For the preliminary/ CSAT, It is an Objective type examination consisting of Two Papers that is common to all candidates from 2011 having special emphasis on testing their aptitude for civil services as well as on general knowledge.
