Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test is replacing engineering entrance exams such as IIT-JEE and AIEEE from 2013 onwards. Though the papers will be set by the IITs, the exam will be conducted by the CBSE Board.
The details of the ISEET examination (available so far) are as follows:
Date/Month of Exam: April or May 2013
Duration: 3 hours each between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the same day
Structure:
ISEET Main (Objective Test) – Logical Reasoning, Critical Thinking and Comprehension
ISEET Adavnced – Problem Solving Skills in Basic Science Subjects
Weightage: At least 40% to Class XII Board Exams (Can go up to 100%)
Maximum of 60% to ISEET scores

1) To pursue Bachelor's in Technology (B.Tech) you need to fulfill certain criteria :
* You should be at least 18 years old or above.
* The maximum age should not exceed 23 years on the date of the exam
* You should have completed plus two or higher secondary education. Also both Physics and Chemistry should be amongst the science subjects studied. You should have studied Mathematics too as a subject.
2) Before joining, you must first appear in engineering entrance exam like AIEEE (national - level entrance exam) , JEE (national - level entrance exam) , SLEEE (state - level entrance exam). These exams are considered significant, especially in India, because most of the students in the country aim for engineering studies, immediately after their +2.
3) Please check the official website of your shortlisted colleges for specific admission criteria. If you fall in the criteria then you do not require management quota. Otherwise, you may contact the college personally as management quota differs from one institute to another.
