Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test is replacing engineering entrance exams such as IIT-JEE and AIEEE from 2013 onwards. Though the papers will be set by the IITs, the exam will be conducted by the CBSE Board.
The details of the ISEET examination (available so far) are as follows:
Date/Month of Exam: April or May 2013

Presently, govt jobs are hard to find. Probably the easiest opportunity which you may try is to look for jobs in universities on a contract basis and then in future may be a permanent staff. Else have to look for pvt jobs only which are much faster to get in comparison to Govt jobs.
