Please note that nowadays almost all the banks offer education loan to students to pursue their education in India or Abroad.
The banks offer maximum loan of Rs 10 Lac for education in India and Rs 20 Lac for education abroad.
The repayment period vary from 5-7 years.
The bank do not ask for any collateral security up to the amount of Rs4 lac, but if the amount exceeds Rs 4 lac then the bank will ask for collateral security.
The repayment of the loan amount starts after 6 months of completion of course or after 6 months of getting job, which ever is earlier.
So as per your query I would suggest you to visit any nationalized bank in your city to get exact information regarding availing education loan.

As far as placements are concerned, institute do provide assistance but no institute can guarantee you regarding that as it entirely depends on your capabilities, utilization of skills, presence of mind, communication skills, etc.

You shouldn't decide whether to drop or not on the basis of your board percentage, PLEASE. Dropping a whole one year is not that easy. Go for it if you are really serious about it. You can drop if you have confidence in your self that you would be able to bear the pressure once more, be sure of it that after half of the year has passed you won't feel like just running away from your studies. Stop for a moment and think, do you really intend to drop? I an not trying to scare you or something, I am just trying to help you take a big decision after proper thinking. Think what you are capable of and then decide. :)
And if you decide to drop try to join some coaching institute. There you'll have exposure to competitive atmosphere that will stimulate you, you'll get proper guidance. In short, you'll be active, you won't go off the track.
