SRM-R is more established and has been there for many years. However, I feel the curriculum in VIT is more academic and focused. Also, all the branches of VIT compete among each other for better results. It's a tough call but i would prefer VIT Bhopal because of the better curriculum and bhopal may be a newer campus but it will come up as VIT makes sure that its brand name prevails.

MA in social work is a 2-year post-graduate degree which aims to equip a candidate with the knowledge of social practices and prepares them to work for the welfare of the society. The minimum eligibility for admission to MA social work in India is a Bachelor's degree in any stream. Admission to MA in social work in India in most of the institutes is done through an entrance test which is generally conducted in the month of June or July. I regret to inform you that you are not eligible for NIT, Warangal because they provide MBA admissions only to BE and B.Tech graduates.
But other NITs like NIT-Silchar and MNIT-Jaipur are there, you can try in these colleges.
