Candidates should have possessed following eligibility criteria defined by IGNOU for B.Ed Program:
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, and Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed (ODL):
(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education;
(ii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teach

Here are the details to get admission:
For admission to the UGC (Non-AICTE) courses, 85% seats shall be open to the candidates from within the state and 15% will be open for the candidates from the outside the state.
The admission of the candidate will be made on the basis of the rank prepared based on the inter-se- merit of the qualifying examination from both 85% quota for resident of Punjab and 15% quota for outside Punjab.
