Hello,
Every course has equal importance in the field of ECE as you know it is a very vast field (VLSI, ECE, Instrumentation, Chip designing, etc.). So, everyone opts for the course as per his/her taste as well as the command on any domain. Even if a person finds himself neutral or equally good in every aspect then the choice is plane Electronics & Communication.
Good luck.
