California State University is an excellent option you choosed. You need to give TOEFL as requirement for visa.
Stanford University Stanford, CA is also a good option, third option can be Harvard University Boston, MA
Beside this i would also suggest you to look for indian universities for admission till the time runs out of your hand.
There are number of good universities in india. one of my cousin took admission in MBA in Lovely Professional University in twinning arrangement where 1st yr he will complete in india and 2nd yr in US, as this university has many tie ups with US universities. you may keep this option with you as well.
