You will have to fill separate entrance exam for taking admission in mass communication. No college gives direct admission based on the merit only.

Yes, you can take admission even if you have any gap in your academic years. To confirm your admission you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the programme. LPU offers various streams under B.Tech such as computer science, civil, mechanical, mechatronics, biotechnology, food technology, biomedical, automobile engineering and many more.

Hello Ashish! Both MBA and MMS are the same; just the name differs. MMS is given by Mumbai University whereas Pune(and maybe other) University gives MBA. Being a Mumbaikar, MMS is an ideal choice for you.

In the private college, no doubt that there is awesome study environment and there is lot more to do, but in the government college, placements is much better than any private college, and there you will get enough time to study and also to learn new skills that is more important in the CSE field.
