Hi Sandipan, such courses have good scope in Germany. And qualification from a country like Germany in the field of Engineering is much valued.
you will need to appear for GRE and TOEFL or IELTS.
students are allowed to work part time for 90 full days or 180 days in a year. Also, a graduate is allowed to stay in Germany for 1 year to look for a job. Once you find a job you can convert your student permit to residence permit for taking gainful employment.

I would like to ask about ur previous qualification, knowledge and experience related with IT industry? One DBA must have knowledge about one POSIX Operating System. Because you must be going to install your database on secured OS. So Linux Administration will be plus before opting DBA. Ofcourse knowledge of Networking is also essential because u will be configuring ur database for the network solution not for the stand alone machine. so RHCSA+RHCE+DBA will be good combination if u go with.
