Hi Arsh, this is totally upto an individual what he or she wants to study. There is no strict rule.One can pursue a Masters in the same field, related area or even opt for an MBA. You must follow your interest and know your career plans and then decide the course of study.

There are many courses you can do after your 12th with science stream. If you are a PCM student, B.Tech and B.E are the most popular courses students like to do after 12th.
If you are a PCB student, MBBS is one of the popular courses you can opt for.
You can also Do B.Sc Honors in your favourite subject (i.e Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology)
You can also opt for B.Sc in Agriculture, Hotel Management etc. as per your interest.
Alternatively, if you are not interested in science stream, you can also opt for commerce or arts& humanities courses like BBA, B.Com, BA, etc. courses are popular courses.
