In my view, having anything that prospective employers would consider when screening you for a Data Scientist employment is the first thing to think about. A few Prospects:
Think about getting a Master's in a field like Machine Learning, Data Analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive), Business Intelligence, Computer Vision, or Mathematical/Statistical Modeling. A Mechanical Engineer with some experience in IT and programming might pursue these avenues.
Don't try to out-geek the nerds and mathematicians. You may use your knowledge of engineering tools like Matlab, simulation, optimization, calculus, and modelling t

Dear Hardik,
Ideally, you need to have a minimum of 60% in graduation and above 98% in CAT. But your target should be above 70 or 80% in graduation (and 98%+ in CAT) because in IIMs rank calculation your graduation marks matter a lot.
Good luck.

Hi Suryas,
You mean OBC category right? There are two cases:
Case 1: You belong to that state in which the NIT is located, i.e., you are eligible to avail home state quota plus you are OBC. So the cutoff might be around 190+ for getting into CSE in any of the 3 top NITs.
Case 2 : You do that belong to the other state, I. e. , you will be availing other state quota. In this case, the cutoff becomes relatively higher for getting CSE in any of the top 3 NITs. Maybe around 230 or more than that will be the safe zone. Thanks.

Hi Trishita, if you are having arts background and still if you are looking forward to take up finance in MBA then I must say that it will be a challenge for you. But again BIBS will first take your interview for admission and if they feel you are eligible for the course they will give you the seat. That won't be an issue. If you take my suggestion marketing or HR would be a better option for you. You must come down to the campus and speak with our placement cell officer. PGPIBM is also a great course as the placements are superb. You can earn after 6 months from joining the college as you will be doing the apprenticeship.

It depends upon you what you want to achieve in the long run. MBA in finance in long run will have a positive impact in your career. Certificate course may help you in short run.
An investment is an asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or will appreciate in the future. In an economic sense, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth. In finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or will be sold at a higher price for a profit.
