IIST exam syllabus:
To prepare for ISAT entrance test, a student should study the syllabus of 11th and 12th standard consists with the science subjects such as physics, chemistry and mathematics.
Physics: Properties of matter, thermodynamics, optics and waves, electromagnetism, mechanics and laboratory related questions.
Chemistry: Organic chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, environmental chemistry, biomolecules, chemistry in everyday life and polymers.
Mathematics: statistics and probability, trigonometry, vector algebra, matrices and determinants, three dimensional geometry, co-ordinate geometry, integral calculus, limit, continuity and differentiability, sets, relations and functions, permutations and combinations, complex numbers and quadratic equations, mathematical induction, binomial theorem and its simple applications, etc.

Here are some steps you can take to get a job in the cyber security department:
Gain relevant education and certification: Pursue a degree in cyber security, information technology, computer Science, or a related field. You can also obtain industry-recognised certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Gain practical experience: Gain practical experience in the field of cyber security by taking on internships, participating in hackathons or cybersecurity competitions, or working on personal projects. This will demonstrate your skills and show your dedication to the field. Network with industry professionals: Attend industry conferences, join online forums, and participate in cybersecurity-related organizations to network with other professionals in the field. Apply for entry-level positions: Apply for entry-level positions in the cyber security department, such as Security Analyst, Cybersecurity Specialist, or Information Security Analyst. These positions will allow you to gain hands-on experience and learn from experienced professionals. Continuously develop your skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field, attend trainings and workshops, and participate in continuing education to continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
