Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. YES, definitely any average student can go into IIT or top NIT's if he/she has the right determination and consistent practice towards his studies and examinations. If you have the dream to get into IIT, like several others,. Then you have to grind yourself, practice hard and have to be consistent at your studies. You have to make a proper time table schedule and need to fix ATIT. If you are weak in calculations and solving numericals and other questions, then you have to work at your weak points and have to sharpen your strong points. Marks in JEE Advanced do not decide the stream you choose, the rank does. Last year paper was so easy that the people who got 50 to 60% marks did not get a reasonable rank but the paper of 2016 was very hard and scoring more than 50% got students AIR under 2000. So the rank will be decided on the basis of difficulty level of the paper. Between CSE in IIT Bombay closes at around AIR 68. So if you want the best branch in the best college, better start working very hard.

Talking about COEP, MIT, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Symbiosis, PICT and IIIT, you won't get any barnch in any of these colleges. Now the colleges in which you can get admission in CSE are:
DY Patil, PCCOE, Sinhgad Institute, MIT Academy of engineering. , MESCOE, GH Raisoni and many more. You may get admission in Bhartiya Vidyapeeth and Symbiosis by going through an agent (but I highly recommend not to). The colleges in bold are good college and you can easily get CS in them. Best wishes for your future.

For your JEE Mains percentile it is difficult for you to qualify in JEE Mains. So, it is not possible to get seat in any of the NITs for your JEE Mains percentile. You can try for Private Engineering Colleges or management quota seats.

Not sure about branch, better infrastructure, better exposure, college life, good placements, want to do MBA/MS later is equivalent to DTU
Passion for coding, okay college life, want to do job and sure shot guarantee to get package above 10 to 15 LPA ( why I am saying so because if you are getting DTU, I am assuming you are good in studies and will work and do well in interviews) is equivalent to IGDTUW.

Yes your marks will matter and effect you campus placement whether it be 10th or 12th boards. It really matters. The marks will not matter once you have experience of working in industry but if you are a fresher then you will face issues. Below is the criteria for campus placement:
60% throughout your academics I. e 10th, 12th and your graduation. No backlogs in 10th, 12th or graduation. If you fulfill this criteria then you will be allowed to sit for campus placement else not. A boarding school is essentially a home away from home at various school levels where most or all of the students take up residence when school is in session. It is a place where they get to be away from their families and society while learning and playing sports. The idea behind this is that they will be able to develop their skills and hobbies while getting away from the distractions of home life. This will help them in their future careers as well as improve their social interactions with peers.

Yes, you can get NITs or IIITs with your rank. All you need to do is some of these steps :
Your choices must include all the branches of NITs. You can omit some of the North Eastern NITs but you must include every branch of the central NITs. Wait till the very end of counselling. Most of the times you can get good NITs or IIITs in the 7th or Special round. Make a list of your choices and arrange it according to your preference and fill it accordingly. According to my prediction you can get a seat in a newly opened IIIT. If you are going to choose it please do check it's Mentor Institute because it can determine your campus life in the i

Hello Vishnu Kumar, it is difficult to state whether you will get government college or not since you have not mention as to which state you belong to. If your state has chosen JEE Mains as the entrance exam for admission to different engineering colleges then you can use the college predictor of Shiksha for JEE Mains to know your chances of branch and college in your state. Best wishes to you.

In general, the BHU cutoff stays high. Even if you wish to earn a BAMS degree from BHU, you will need to aim for roughly 450 marks in the BAMS courses. Typically, as BHU is the third-ranked university in India, it would be preferable if you attempted to score over 450 points on the exam
