As you CAT percentile is less and the eligibility criteria of PIBM is the minimum 60 percentile in the entrance exams like CAT MAT XAT MH-CET, CMAT etc. And minimum 50% in the graduation. PIBM also conducts internal assessment test name as PMAT, where the students have to go through Aptitude test followed by Psychometric test, GD's and PI's. The weightage given to each section is above average score in each and the student is eligible to take admission in PIBM.

Hey,
Sorry but this year the cutoffs are high. If you have given CMAT with a score above 90% you can apply with that. Rest you can work hard this year and give your best in the coming CAT exam.

Yes, Diploma in a branch of engineering will surely enable you to seek admission to a degree course in engineering. Normal degree course in engineering enables you to take admission in lateral mode directly into second year. Whether such facility is extended by institutions offering degree by correspondence depends on the management of it. Hence you will have to write to registrar for knowing further details.
