Hi Nishant,
Although, it is advisable that you should opt for a full time MBA programme if you are really looking for good exposure and career growth, especially when you are a fresher. Reason being that the correspondence programmes are generally for those working professionals who have good amount of work experience and are looking for growth with in their current organization or industry.
However, if you want to enroll for Distance learning Programme with SMU it is a decent UGC & DEC recognized University, but there are other options as well which you would like to explore such as IGNOU, Annamalai University, IMT, Symbiosis and other

To do M.Sc., Biotechnology you need to have 50% Marks in aggregate with any three of the following subjects : Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Botany, Applied Botany, Zoology, Applied Zoology, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Bio-technology, Genetics. It will be 45% in case of SC/ST. Have a wonderful future. Wish you all the very best.
