Journalism is a field that is worth working. A lot of students are getting attracted to this field nowadays. This is mostly due to the fact that a career in journalism can be challenging as well as highly rewarding.
To be eligible, the minimum requirement in Bachelor degree in journalism is 10+2 and for Post graduate degree courses a Bachelor degree in journalism.
Some institutes also provide one year certificate courses in journalism for which eligibility is 10+2.
Many Indian colleges offer students the course at the graduate and postgraduate levels.
It would be advisable to go for regular course if possible as it will help you to gain more practical knowledge as compared to distance courses.

Dear Sawan, based on CEH which is a 5-15 days course, there are no openings in DRDO. In fact for DRDO you are not qualified as Atleast first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline is required. The selection to DRDO labs(there are 32 labs in India) as scientist is throgh DRDO SET exam and very tough.
Now coming to your actual question that is to join Army. Yes you can join Army, Air Force & Navy as an Officer. For that first you will have to give CDS exam followed by SSB. Google both CDS & SSB you will get all your answer.
