Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. The Android SDK provides the tools and APIs necessary to begin developing applications on the Android platform using the Java programming language.

Applications:
Android will ship with a set of core applications including an email client, SMS program, calendar, maps, browser, contacts, and others. All applications are written using the Java programming language.

Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like tu suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons. Instead of collecting degree take any International Certifications with u in less amount of time which helps u more. Lots of career lines are there in IT industry as well. System Admin, Network Admin, Security Admin, Database Admin, Software Developer, Web Developer and many more. Most of the Servers are running on Linux Servers. If u choose Linux platform as ur career option will be the futuristic approach. RHCE, RHCSS, RHCEV, JBOSS, LAMP, WAMP, XAMP CCNA, MCSE, JCP, OCP are some of the Leading Specialization areas where u can get some International kind of quality Certification. As Shiksha is an education portal which believes in giving the unbiased opinion it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion or judgment on a specific institute. However, I would say that IIMG is an AICTE approved Institute but would like to add here that before getting into any institute apart from check its recognition few of the other things which you should keep in mind are: the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute.
