The admission to the Diploma Engineering Courses is made through the Joint Entrance Test. Candidates who qualify the JET are eligible to apply for admission to various courses being run in the affiliated institutions of the Board. The admission to these institutions will be based on the relative merit of the candidates in the JET in their respective category. All candidates desirous of applying for admission are required to submit admission application form with the requisite fee before the last date fixed for submission of the same.
Those candidates who qualify the JET can apply for the admission to various Institutions affiliated with the Board. Admission will be purely on the inter-se-merit of JET. Candidates desirous to take admission should fill up the admission form, which is included in the prospectus. ENTRY QUALIFICATION: For Diploma (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Computer and IT): The Applicant must posses an aggregate of 55% in Mathematics and Science in 10 Std. from CBSE or its equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. OR 12th Pass with 55% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized Board or Institutions. ITI pass outs (who passed at least 10 level school leaving examination before admission to ITI course) & 10+2 pass (Vocational stream) candidates can apply for admission to the relevant branch.

Well it actually depends on what type of language are you talking about? like scripting language, developing language or database manipulation language or something else. As far as future is considered no one can predict anything about it. Take the example of smartphones. Who would have thought a few years before the invention of ipad or iphones the we were going to have something like that. What i mean to say is that today technology is changing out world so rapidly that you cannot guarantee what will be the level of science tomorrow. well now coming back to the languages, I cannot tell you what language to learn keeping the future in mind but i can certainly tell you the languages considered essential as of today.

Java
Python
Scripting Languages:
HTML & CSS- HTML5 and CSS3 (Can be considered as the language of future)
JavaScript
PHP
SQL
Perl
These are some of the most widely used programming languages as of today and I don't see any replacement of these languages in near future.
