Actually it is very easy to find out. All education institutions in India have to be recognized or approved either by UGC or AICTE( for engineering, pharmacy, MCA, architecture & Town planning courses) and MCI( for MBBS, BDS degrees). Apart from approval, an institute has to be affiliated to some government recognized university. All institutes have to display their accreditation and affiliation in their websites as per mandatory disclosure. If any institute does not display such approval bodies then it means that they are not government approved and mind you, there are thousands of non recognized institutes in India.
