Hi Piyush! Choosing way after 12th depends majorly on the subjects chosen in 12th. Doing engineering on 10th base would certainly waste your two years(+1 & +2). Go for any course after 12th only.
If you've completed your 12th with PCM then options can be:
B.Tech
B.Sc
Diploma etc.
If subjects were PCB then options can be:
B.Pharma
B.Sc
MBBS etc.
Hence, it depends on your subjects. Go for anything but with full determination.
You can mark this answer as best if you think your query is resolved.
Good Luck!

Hi,
There are a lot of news in the market like a common aptitude-cum-advanced knowledge test will replace the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) in 2013. Also few say that IIT JEE will be computer based from 2014.
I am not really sure to what extent the above is true. Would suggest you to keep a constant check on the respective official website.
Hope this was useful. Feel free to discuss more.
