I know that your life will be doomed in Ramaiah Institute of Management studies. Please don't fall into the trap.
Nothing is good about this MBA College.
MS Ramaiah is a very good college.
RIMS just uses the same brand name, that is all.

Same is for Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies (RIBS ) and Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies (RILS)
These are not the same as MS Ramaiah.

Amity is a decent name in the education sector. since they have a large number of campus u should talk to the alumni of the particular campus and get views from them about the future prospect, quality of faculty, neccessary facilities available or not and then make decision. pre-admission visit to campus and interaction with faculties is very much important now-a-days. wish you a great career. thank you.

As you know your perperentage according to cbse is avarage and on 170 in jee main you will lie somewhere in between 25000-30000 so your chances to get a good one with good branch are minimum. But as you say that these are excluded from drawing so rank may vary. Then your chances will increase overall you get a good score.
