Food technology can be a very promising course given you have interest in the same. You have a very rather good marks expectations in JEE. Try the official joint counselling. The application forms were issued in the month of May. It was an online registration process. The last date for registration was May 31st and the last date for submission was on June 3rd.
As the applications are closed right now, you may try for other colleges if you haven't given for counselling.

No, there is no personal interview or group discussion in NIFT Situation test. You'll be provided with the materials and you'll just have to make the 3D model as per the topic given.
