Direct course or Full-time course is a course in which students pursue day long curriculum in colleges. Whereas in correspondence students appears week ends (Generally Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for his studies in colleges/study centers etc.
For the value of the course,

Or if you are asking for the value of course in you professional life,

Yes dear, Companies are least bothered about your mode of learning they need a skilled person, so if we are inclined towards our profession and have true skill and passion we will be much worthier in market.
So, I could say both Correspondence and Full-time has its value, ultimately we decide its worth in our life.
