Gaming programmers are the people who do coding for video games. In your job, you'll typically be part of a collaborative creative team that includes game designers and artists. Majorly your area is concerned with coding, which tells the computer or system what to do for the game to be played. The key steps in becoming a game developer are:
Step 1: Develop High-Level Math Skills.
Step 2: Get a Bachelor's Degree.
Step 3: Build a Portfolio.
Step 4: Find an Entry Level Position as a Game Programmer.
Step 5: Advance to become a software developer.
The minimum eligibility criteria is graduation, preferably in CS/CE with key skills in Critical thinking, problem-solving, quality control analysis, judgment, decision-making, operations analysis, systems evaluation, advanced computer skills with programming languages, especially C, C+, Perl, Assembly, and Lua.
Now regarding the IT industry, there would always be up and down in the market but if you are talented there would be no shortage of jobs. So, concentrate and work hard.

As per my knowledge, the advantage of doing integrated BPT and MPT over individual degrees is going to be manifold. One of my friends joined the course two years back in LPU and the first benefit that she told me is of fees. Whatever was the fees of the higher degree (MPT) two years back that would be applicable to her when she will reach her MPT. Another benefit that she talks of is that she won't have to worry about colleges and prepare for entrance test after her BPT because of the integrated course. Also, she says that she doesn't have to adjust in the new environment when she goes for her higher degree as both the degrees are from same place and she knows the place and her teachers over there well.
So, looking at all this I feel integrated degree surely has benefits.

Well, actually getting good grades in college does not mean you have to work hard, but it definitely means that you have to put-in smart work instead of hard work. Besides, college life is totally different in the terms that you get out and learn what real life is.! Try to work smart, refer the previous papers of the professors to understand the important topics according to them and focus on them more. Try new things too. Like get involved in the fests of your college, learn some event management, take part in drama, dance, etc co-curricular activities. Try and make the most of college because what you do in life is partly dependent on your college. So, study smartly and don't forget to have fun because college days are best in life.
