Average fees at Canadian universities is around CA$ 20,000 per year,and average living expenses are about CA$ 10,000 per year, an average tuition fee of a US university is about US$ 30,000 per-year and average living expenses are about US$ 10,000 per-year.The tuition fee and living expenses might be more or less depending on the university and location.
In order to pursue undergraduate degree from universities in US and Canada, you need to be 12th pass from recognized education board, with good academic record preferably 60%-70% in 12th, plus you need to take below mentioned test:
1. SAT (required by universities in US)
2. TOEFL or IELTS.
Please not that some universities in Canada may also require SAT scores.
Please remember application deadlines in American and Canadian universities for international students are set by the department delivering each program, and these deadlines may be as early as 12 months before the program begins.
So, in order to know the exact application deadline it would be always advisable to browse through the university's website you wish to apply.
Overall,universities in US and Canada have 2 admission intake in a year namely:
- Fall(September) intake.
- Spring(January) intake.
In most of the universities the deadline for fall intake is July and for spring intake it is November.
