B.tech candidate can apply for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST (NET), Joint CSIR-UGC Test (JRF and Lectureship )
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must completed 4 years program: BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc or, equivalent degree with at least 55% marks
Age Limit(as on 01-07-2013):
For JRF (NET):
Maximum 28 years
For LS (NET):
No upper age limit.
Relaxation:
50% for SC/ST candidates, physically and Visually Handicapped candidates
Last date for submission form: 22.08.2013

You should keep following points in your mind, are:
If you have enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited category
Note: You should have completed criteria within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award
For JRF (NET):
Maximum 28 years
Closing date of Online Submission: 22.08.2013
