Yes the university has a good brand reputation as far as molecular sciences and nanotech is concerned. You can also apply to John Hopkins University, Arizona State University and University of California-Berkeley. All the mentioned universities are top universities for nanotechnology.
Since you are interested in Nanotechnology, i would recommend pursuing the same course from UK as you would find better universities offering this course. Four universities Heriot-Watt in Edinburgh, Cranfield, Lancaster and Liverpool offer nanotechnology masters courses.
