Hi,
IIMs are reputed institutions with experience. They make personalities. They change a student for their betterment. Degree can be earned by anyone but knowledge is not everyone's cup of tea. The environment in IIM itself will push you to have a vision and work for it. Not only IIMs even the IITs, FMS and XLRI they also belong to the same category.

Well, placements are good here. There are many companies coming for the placement as well. Almost all the students have been placed till now and many of them have joined too. The placement cell here makes sure that each student get 2-3 offers so that they can choose as per their convenience. The selection of the student depends upon their communication skills & abilities. If you can communicate well, then you can easily get placed in big companies with a good package as well.

It is better if you go for offline because you will get a chance to select the questions in random manner means the questions you feel easy to work with can be taken first instead of going one by one. Another advantage is you can work on the questions first and then answer or mark them on the sheet later before running out of time.

The answer is absolutely no because if every student should take JEE entrance examination in online mode then there is no concept of keeping offline examination. So, why to choose always online. Go with offline for better performance.

In BIBS you get more than 30 companies coming in for placements every year. So the packages vary with different companies and theere job requirements and positions. It completely depends how well you perform in the interview and if you have experience its an advantage for sure. But as you asked me about minimum package it is Rs 2.5lakh till now. For apprenticeship in PGPIBM course you can get upto Rs 20,000 but generally it varies between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.
