Hi,
1) You should start your preparation right away as you are in the 3rd year and next year you would require time to prepare for your finals.
2) You should go for the old pattern as the revised pattern is difficult if you want to compare both. There are a few advantages of taking the new pattern but there are more disadvantages of taking the new pattern as well.

Networking training along with security has a very relevant market demand in to days expanding data commn. relevancy . And 4 this i suggest u to go for cisco ccna. U can be trained from cisco network academy or from their learning partner. Then appear for ccna certification through any promatric test centre as suggested by them. Other fields as mentioned by u has also potential.

There are many instituets in India which are offering Bachelor degree courses in Animation like BIT Mesra, Arena, MAAC, ICAT and many more. Most of these institutes are private institutes and offer degree courses in animation through a University affiliation.
You can opt for either of the instituets depending on your personal preference and also the kind of infrastructure, faculty, curriculum etc the institute offers.
