Do u think that MBA is needed for a technical people? I don't think so. One Technical person will enhance his or her technical knowledge then only he or she will remain on top position not by MBA. Technical Head must have thorough knowledge of the technical side not by his managerial skills. MBA person can not dominate to a technical head. Network Design, System Analysis, Database Design, Planning and implementation doesn't require Managerial skills. It only and only requires his technical skills.

Hey first i would advice you to not let geographical boundaries as an obstacle in your dreams. Go for best college irrespective of its location. Now as you want to pursue M.tech, there are various colleges in India that offers this degree such as IIT, BITS Pilani, DCE etc. If you want to pursue specialization in core subjects then go for UPES dehradun. With its advanced programs and well experienced faculty, the university has made its mark in the educational sector. It has a good placement record too.
